How to identify materials of adhesive stickers?

一， Coated Paper

First, identify the coated paper.

Coated paper is one of the main papers used by printing plants. Coated paper is commonly known. The official name should be printing paint, which is widely used in real life. As the name implies, there are two ways to identify paper

The first is easy to tear. When we get a material, we can't identify whether it is coated paper or synthetic paper. Then we can try to tear it. If it is easy to tear, it is coated paper.

The second is water resistance. As we all know, paper is not waterproof. Therefore, coated paper does not have this feature. When the coated paper encounters water, it will instantly absorb water. Coated paper will be damp. It is also easier to tear.

So we will produce coated paper as medicinal  labels, packaging labels, cultural goods labels, wine bottle labels，logistics label etc

二，Synthetic paper

Synthetic paper is also a commonly used self-adhesive material. Synthetic paper, also called polypropylene film, is a kind of synthetic film material.

It is impossible to distinguish the coated paper from the synthetic paper only visually. The surface material and the back are white.

Because synthetic paper belongs to synthetic film category, there are two ways to distinguish it. It's just the opposite of the coated paper.

First, when we get this material, we also try to tear it. We will find that this material is not easy to tear.

Second, membrane materials are waterproof. When we spray water, we will find that the water droplets will drop without being absorbed

三，Aluminum Foil

This material is easy to identify.

When we get the material, the surface may be printed with other colors and patterns. But we can identify it by its back.

Its back is like a mirror, very bright and reflective.

Of course, because of this feature, many customers will choose this material to print yellow or white to achieve a shiny effect.

Therefore, we will produce aluminum foil as electronic label, cosmetic label, food label, gasoline label, etc

四， Transparent 

Transparent material

This material is easy to identify.

When we get the material, the surface may be printed with other colors and patterns. But we can identify it by its details.

Because once you choose to use transparent materials, there must be some places with certain permeability.

Therefore, transparent material will be produced for cosmetic labels, food labels, beverage labels, etc.
